At Bright Futures Children Center we always have a great day of fun and learning.
Goals
Our goal is to create a positive and safe atmosphere for children with a “culture of kindness” making Bright Futures an excellent environment for children to learn.

Highlights
-
Provide physical activities throughout the day. At Bright Futures Children Center your child will have the opportunity to build on these skills on our playground as well as during our SPARKS (sports play and recreation for kids) program in our classrooms.

Fun Food Fridays is part of our weekly curriculum where we will introduce some new foods to the children and / or show ways to eat some favorites in new and fun ways.

Theme based curriculum which is enhanced through group time, manipulative, games, puzzles and open-ended art and craft time that encourages creativity.

Circle time which enhances name recognition, calendar, weather, sharing, responsibility, and second step which focuses on empathy and social development.

Shaking Shapes and Jumping Numbers are a fun, active and creative ways to for our kids to learn their numbers and shapes.

Early literacy skills are enhanced by a print rich environment, the availability of books and the participation in Raising a Reader where all our children will be able to take books home to read with their parents.

Children will enhance their letter recognition through Zoo Phonics a curriculum that matches animals, letters sounds, and movement.

Community outreach though guest speakers and field trips.

A strong partnership with Redding schools, our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs for entrance to Kindergarten.

We are committed to creating an environment that is family friendly and provides a safe learning environment for all our children.

Family style meals include lessons on good nutrition, manners, how to serve themselves, clean up, and basic table etiquette.
